well and enjoying your home learning.
This week’s
English learning, might look a little different but we still have an exciting
theme!
As normal, each
Monday we will post a reading activity to the blog. Then we will post four
other English lessons to work through from Tuesday.
We are introducing
a new text today!
Activity 1
Below is a word
cloud. This is a jumble of all the words from the blurb of the text. Look
carefully at the words.
Are they giving you any clues about the text?
Can you answer the
following questions?
You can discuss them with your grown up, or write the
answers down on a piece of paper. Use the clues to explain your answers.
1) Do you think our text will be fiction or
non-fiction?
2) Where do you think the text will take
place?
3) Who do you think the characters of the text
will be?
Activity 2
Here is another
clue!
Who do you think
the main character might be and why?
What do you think
he is or does for a job and why?
Time for the
reveal....
