Science - Plants Week 1

In Science, we are going to be learning about plants. This is a chance for you to get out into your garden or go out for a walk in the fresh air.

In Year 1, we need to be able to answer the following questions.

What are plants? 

What are different parts of plants called?

What do plants need to grow?

How do plants grow?

Lesson 1

Planting a bean

Can you plant a seed or a bean and keep a weekly diary about its growth?

Alternatively if you can't get hold of a seed or bean then you could have a go at planting a potato.
